Halfway between Catania and Syracuse, in Sicily.s south-eastern corner, there is a private residential estate that has restricted access to the Baia dei Sospiri, or Bay of Sighs. Sighs, because the bay.s crystal clear waters, well-maintained lawns, pinned by palm trees, and general air of exclusivity, will doubtless make you sigh with pleasure. Taking its name from this bay, just one and a half kilometres away, lies our spacious holiday home, having access through electric gate. Villa Baia dei Sospiri is a modern-style family home located in the midst of countryside, surrounded by olive groves and rolling Sicilian hills. It has lots of clean lines, cool airy spaces, and, despite its proximity to the sea, an above-ground swimming pool.
